This started out as a group of around six like-minded entrepreneurial individuals who would meet on Thursdays for a beer and a chat. This group has now grown and they have around 160 members.
The group has moved on from drinks to a collaborative working space on the wharf and they are starting to look ahead to some volunteer community initiatives. For example one of its members is co-ordinating a small mentoring programme for local Devonport students in their last year of tertiary studies in business-relate fields as well as science, technology, engineering where there is an interest in business and/or entrepreneurship. In summary they wish to act as mentors to up and coming business/Science, Engineering, Technology and Maths leaders and improve the Devonport community.
