SOLOMON ISLANDS APPEAL
Our April 14th fundraiser for the Solomon Islands raised $930.10. The Trustees/Board of the Club matched this amount and we were able to send THREE EMERGENCY KITS to the Region. The monies raised came from the Raffle, the fines on the evening, and personal donations. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Four of our members (Libby, Graham, Murray, and Athol) also gave up their Saturday to collect at the Glenfield Shopping Mall, with other Community Members. The Collection Teams Raised $2,438. OUTSTANDING

VANUATU – OUR DISTRICT
We have Purchased 100 Dictionaries for the
Schools in Vanuatu Appeal. These will have our
Club Emblem inserted into them and then be
delivered to the Islands. This initiative is in line with the DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S drive to
support Vanuatu. Current Projects run to about
$2 million dollars. There is also of course a link
to our very own Cable Able, who was with us
earlier in the year for life saving surgery at Star
Ship Hospital.
