In lovely weather, we had yet another great evening chipping for chops, kindly organized by Phil LeGros. Most people tried their best but are never going to get on the USPGA Tour with Tiger at at least we got to see President Graham’s Chunky legs. Bob McGuigan also showed us how to use a golf club to plough a reserve taking huge chunks of grass with every swing. Pat O’Hagan, Owen and a few other scoundrels never actually left the bar, choosing instead to just play the 19th Hole. Phil LeGros insulted Cunliffe’s Tie, and Linda Betts took wild hockey swings. Yes. What an event. We may never ever see our prospective member guests again!!
