Devonport Rotary members at Windsor Reserve in Devonport were on hand to welcome the runners across the finish line at the Coastal Challenge.
In this annual coastal adventure participants run, walk and sometimes swim along the stunning eastern coastline of Auckland’s North Shore. For those individuals and teams doing the full 33km race, their journey began in Arkles Bay on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
There were also 6km, 11m, 17km, and 22km running/walking events starting at different points along the course and ending in Devonport.
